This review examines immunotherapy, a method that uses the immune system to fight cancer, focusing on treatments like CTLA-4 and PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors, and CAR-T cell therapy. It discusses the effectiveness of these therapies in enhancing the immune system's ability to detect and destroy cancer cells. Additionally, the role of antibodies, vaccines, and cytokines in cancer treatment is explored. Emphasizing the need for individualized
treatment plans, the review suggests that customizing therapy to each patient's specific condition could lead to improved outcomes and fewer side effects. The aim is to highlight the potential of immunotherapy as a valuable cancer treatment option and advocate for more personalized approaches in patient care.
